Finnair Plus Gold Challenge official competition rules

1. The Organiser 

Finnair Oyj, Tietotie 11, 01053 Finnair, Finland. Hereinafter the 'Organiser'.

 

2. Eligibility 

All Finnair Plus members who are over 18 years of age are eligible to participate in the competition. After registration, the participants will be entered to the competition for the whole duration of the campaign.

Persons working for companies or groups associated with organising the competition are not eligible to enter the competition.

 

3. Entry period 

The entry period is 3 July–14 August 2019. The participants must register to the campaign before 14 August 2019.

 

4. Choosing the winner

The Finnair Plus Gold membership is drawn by lottery among those who have registered via the Golf GameBook app during the entry period 3 July–14 August 2019.

Additionally, the participant who played the most handicap lowering rounds during the campaign period 3 July–14 August 2019 will win a golf tournament trip to Castelconturbia, Italy. If more than one participant has the same number of handicap-lowering rounds at the end of the campaign, the winner will be drawn by lottery among them.

The winners will be drawn 4 September 2019. Winners will be notified individually via email to the email address given in the member’s Finnair Plus profile. The winner's names will not be published on the campaign website.

Entries to the competition received outside the entry period will be rejected. The Organisers accept no liability during the competition for technical malfunctions (e.g. breakdowns) due to faulty internet connections.

 

5. Prizes

A Finnair Plus Gold membership (valid for 12 months) will be drawn among all those who have participated in the campaign by registering and playing 46 holes during the campaign period 3 July–14 August 2019. The Gold membership is transferrable to another member. The winner will also get a 12-month GameBook Gold membership.

Additionally, the participant with the most of handicap-lowering rounds played during the campaign period 3 July–14 August 2019 will win a golf trip to Castelconturbia, Italy 27–29 September 2019.

 

6. How to participate in the competition 

You can take part in the Gold membership draw by registering to the campaign in the Golf GameBook app and playing 46 holes during the campaign period. To participate in the golf tournament trip competition, you must play the most handicap lowering rounds between 3 Juyly–14 August 2019. If more than one participant has the same number of handicap-lowering rounds at the end of the campaign, the winner will be drawn by lottery among them.

 

7. Conditions concerning the prize 

a) If the winner cannot be reached within two weeks of the draw, the Organiser reserves the right to carry out a new draw for another prize winner.

b) The prize cannot be exchanged for goods or money.

c) In the event of any hindrances, the Organiser reserves the right to make changes.

 

8. The Organiser's responsibility

The Organiser's liability towards all the contestants, for any reason whatsoever, cannot exceed the amount and value of the prize mentioned in the official rules. The prize winner agrees to absolve the Organiser from any liability that may result from, or is claimed to have resulted from, participating in the competition or from the acceptance or use of the prize.

 

9. The official rules concern all contestants

Contestants agree to abide by these rules and to the decisions taken by the Organiser concerning the competition.
